I didn’t even know that awards like this were given. I’m very grateful to Alice, I Was Born2Cree8 and thank you big time. To me, starting this blog was not about getting awards or anything like that. I started this for an easy place for my mom to read about the shows that we watch and both enjoy. It’s turned into much more than that and I’m enjoying it greatly. I have made some good friends already. But as I say I’m not out for awards at all. I’m not into being the most popular or most entertaining or most technical. I’m just here to communicate with friends and enjoy the banter and revelry. But this I had to accept and post and Alice it will be the most important one I have gotten because it is the first and will always hold a special place with me. So onto the award and the hard part.
THE AWARD:
Proximidade, created by Dawn at Twisted Sister and passed on to me by Alice, is described as follows. This blog invests and believes in proximity- nearness in space, time and relationships. You are so right.
I am honored… but I really don't do awards. Thank you for thinking of me though! I do have a question however. You started this blog so your Mom could “read about” the shows that you watch? Does SHE watch these shows too? And if she does, WHY does she need to read about them? … and if she doesn't… why does she WANT to read about them? I'm NOT being anything negative here… I just really AM curious about this! I always feel bad when I stop by your page because I don't watch television at all — so I have no idea about any of the shows — nor do I have any opinions about them. So, THIS is also a post that caught my attention and gave me something to really comment ON! LOL!
You are welcome first of all. I don't know if you have noticed but I'm starting to do more than just TV as I learn more about blogging. My mom watches a lot of the same shows. What I post is anything about the shows I'd people that act in them really. It's just a way to get gossip on the shows and find out more info about it. She's been really busy and doesn't visit a whole lot because my grandmother is needing a lit if care right now. Being 91 she's getting up there. Between her and my moms job, she works with my sister at her insurance company she doesn't have a lot of free time. But if you see a comment by juliejean09 that's her. One of my first posts to this blog was about my mom. Anyway that's how it started. And it's really not to find out what goes on in the show but more about the gossip. Hope you keep coming by. I'm going to attempt Manic or Maniac Monday this week. I have too get better before attempting photos. LOL.

Thank you for graciously bestowing this award upon me. My blog is all about relationships and friends and it isn't all about gathering awards — which is why I will not be taking this and displaying it. Just knowing you (and Alice!) both thought enough of me to bestow it is all the glory I need. Your comments on my blog are daily awards and I treasure each and every one — even when you are clueless.

I see! (said the blind man)… That's cool I guess. Obviously, if I don't watch tv I don't keep up with the gossip either — but I HAVE noticed you are doing other things too — BEWARE! LIFE takes over these blogs! When I started MINE it was going to be all about my weight loss journey… And it was a great deal about that until I quit losing weight… *sigh* It MAY become that again… sOOn! LOL! Anyway… I WILL be back!

I think they bring out a lot of creativeness that we have bunched up inside us. You can do what you want when you want and it's just all up to you. A great freedom of expression outlet. If you go on your weight loss journey I shall join in…i could loose a few myself.
