Before I start I have to mention and thank endlessly 3 blogs and their owners who have gotten ScuttleButtMoTv where it is today. Each of them has played a valuable role in different ways to this blog.
More on their influence in a future blog. A big mahalo to you all. I will always be grateful. Oh and check out the front page of ScuttleButtMoTv for another big thank you. Onward we go.
As a subscriber to Quilly’s Pacific there was a particular post on January 26, 2009 about her being interviewed. Was she tricked? Click on her link above and you be the judge. Anyhow, she offered to interview her readers, if the so chose. I bit. The only stipulations, or should I say trickery
is the following copied directly from her blog:
Now, to my readers: Would you like to be interviewed by me? If so, here’s how:
1. Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. (I get to pick the questions). They will be special.
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. And thus it will go on and on and on till some brave soul says enough is enough.
THE INTERVIEW:
1.) What is the best and the worst thing about driving public transit? There is one answer for both. People. You see the good and the bad every day. You see how polite and how rude they are. The job makes you always ponder the human race.
2.) What is the craziest thing you’ve ever seen while driving the bus? Easy. Some years back when a military truck hit an overpass on the H-1 freeway. Traffic was snarled for hours on end. It was something else. Bus full of people. Hours on asphalt. No RESTROOMS!!! But you know that was one of the best days behind the wheel. Reason: refer to question 1.
3.) What prompted you to start blogging, and why is your topic of choice television? I was emailing my mom and aunt daily with gossip on shows we watch. It was tons of copy and pasting. Ouch….my poor fingers. I thought there’s got to be a better way. Idea: I subscribe to blogs I wonder? Sure enough, I can. Topic: What else – the email topics: Movies, Television and Gossip.
4.) What is your favorite TV show, and why do you like it? I have two of equal importance. 24 and LOST. I cannot choose between them because I really like how they have developed their characters over the years and they both just give me shear pleasure to watch. I don’t analyze in depth like others do but just take them for them for what they are – a television series. Oops, I cheated. Was only suppose to name one…YIKES!!!
5.) How do you think the world would be different if television had never been invented? I am a TV fanatic. I do think however that our basic communication skills through the years have suffered because of TV. Listening to others speak is a chore. Speaking properly is a chore for others to hear. Our basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills have declined. Pay attention to others, especially children next time the electricity goes out. You’ll see what I mean.
Woah! Silver…we made it through the interview.
So now I offer the same 5 stipulations above.
A Hui Ho

What do you mean, no comments yet?! I commented yesterday! And nobody came by from my post with your button?
What’s up with that?!
Yesterday I cam ehere and told you what a great job you did answering these questions! I also told you that the other guy who asked to be interviewed the same time you did is also a public transit driver — in Canada!
Who ate my comment?
Quilly…I wonder if I did something wrong? I saw the email that notifies me that a comment came in and what it had in it. I still have that. I just checked. “Thom — great interview!”. I then looked in the blog and never saw it, so I just assumed that it was an email from you. But now when I go and check it it is a comment. I checked the link to view it and nothing is there either. Then I remember you sending me an email, I believe we were talking about the RSS feeds and that’s where you mentioned the Canadian. So I dont’ know what happened to your comment. Maybe itchy fingers and I deleted it? But praise from you I wouldn’t do that I don’t think. I do thank you for the comment.
