]]> I woke up early and turned on CNN and to my amazement was struck by the events of the day. CNN had made it possible to connect and update your status on Facebook. It was great. But to my amazement was the hatred of President Bush and his wife Laura. Needless to say, being who I am, I stood up for them and got some nasty comments back to me but I continued on. There were a couple of of people that had the same feeling as I did and they joined in the rebuttals.

I do hope that President Obama does change what is going on in the US and the world, but as I have previously stated, I do not think that will happen. I still believe it’s going to be politics as usual in DC. My sister said it best in yesterday’s post and in an email she sent out. Part of which is as follows: “What a wonderful day this will be. However, reality will strike and strike hard I am afraid to say, but live in your fricking lalaland for one day!!! LOL”.

So, I decided to take some photos of my TV of President and Laura Bushes last moments in Washington DC. I do thank them for the 8 years they served this great nation. I know mistakes were made, but hey were all human. You rely on people as your advisors and somes you get wrong information. All in all I think he was a good President and I do believe history will confirm this.
