Quilly and OC

Today was a great day. I got to meet Quilly and OC. I went over to their house and had a wonderful time. Quilly cooked a great meal. Roast, Potatos, Carrots, Onions and Gravy. After dinner she did comment that she forgot to put out the salad but by that time, alas, we were full and forgave her. Excellent cook!

We spent the afternoon basically getting to know each other and just talking story. They have a lovely home, a nice big back yard and Quilly is growing tomatos and peppers. We also talked of course about blogging. It amazes me what you can learn and what you can share with others. I came away from there with my blog changed in that I’m not requiring registration any longer. Instead my blog will require just your name, valid email and a correct confirmation word. That way people don’t need to take the time to register each time they come to the blog and have to log in. By all means, however, if you want to register feel free.

It was a very nice time with the both of them. They are truly good people and very fun to be around. I’m grateful to the both of them for us getting together and having new friends come into my world.

So here’s the quiz: Who is who?

Hey, it’s just my opinion.

Thom — you made a great house guest — very easy to entertain and get along with. You are always welcome back.

  2. Thom says:

Thank you. I think there will be plenty of visits LOL

Oh — as to the photo, OC saw it first and said, “It’s quite good. It looks just like you.” I told him that was a guarantee I’d hate it.

AND, as to the salad, OC and I just ate it.

Thom, you’re one of the luckiest men on earth! I wish I lived as close to Quilly as you do! Do you have an extra room?

    • Thom says:

Sure Melli. Just bring a tent and a sleeping bag LOL P.S. The outhouse is cleaned every day. All kidding aside. It was pretty amazing to learn how close they live to me. I was surprised for some reason because how many times do you get to meet in real life the people that you communicate with on line? It just seemed surreal at first. They are wonderful people I tell ya

How many times in RL do you get to meet the people you communicate with online? OC, You, Capsun, Brooke (okay, Brooke is my niece, so you might say she doesn’t count) …. not as often as I’d like.
