Well I have two more days with my housemates. I must say it’s been a pleasure to be with them. But I will also say there are times that I think to myself I’m glad I do not have a dog, let alone two of them. But that thought doesn’t last very long. It’s just a lot of responsibility and after three weeks, I’ve grown accustom to them.
Let me introduce you. Frankie, the older one, is the brown one up front. He’s a flighty little thing. Doesn’t like to be held or get to close. I think that is sort of changing a little. He’s gotten better about letting me hold him. Nani, the little lamb, is the white one in the back ground. She’s sort of clumsy, all legs. She loves to lick and is very loving.

My housemates
Between the two of them we have managed the last 3 weeks to co-exist with each other. It amazes me how dependent they really are on me. And talk about following you all over the place. I cannot go anywhere without the both of them there. I have had a couple of times that they have had do do butt and I almost panicked. But what a good way to give them a bath. I let em soak for a little while and then with a washcloth in hand, the mess does get cleaned up.
They love their treats. And I do think that when Mama comes home, they are going to be in for a shock. I’m a lot more lenient in that regard I’m sure, so I hope for Mama’s sake that I haven’t spoiled them to much. The walks have been great. These two take off like there is no tomorrow but by the time we are done, they have settled down and have gotten a tad bit tired.
I’m going to miss them I must say. It has amazed me how attached you can get to animals in such a short time. I have worried about them more than I would like to admit but it happens. They have been a pleasure. Tuesday will be a different day for me, as they will no longer be in my care, but then all will not be lost. I go back home and start walking my neighbors dog, Nalu.

Hey it’s just my opinion
A Hui Ho

We do get attached to the wee critters that come into our lives. I have two cats that are like kids, always hungry, refuse to listen and basically do what they want with no regards to me.
Bill: I hear ya. My friends, whose mom is the house I'm staying at, has two cats and a dog. When I house sit for her, those damn cats just do what they want. At least a dog follows orders. Well not orders per se but obeys more. The funny thing is that when Lisa is home those cats behave like a dog. Go figure. LOL
They look like doll babies! They need hugs and kisses and you can have the dodo butt.
Quilly – Well pucker up
Hi Thom,
All animals are a little bit of work. I had to laugh at your comment about the cats doing what they want. It is so true. I remember hearing once you can tell a dog to come and most times he will; but a cat looks at you takes a message and says I'll get with you later. Mine does.
It's nice you can sit with them, love them, and hand them back!
Thank you for your wonderful comments over at my blog.
Carletta: You are most welcome and thank you for your comments as well. I thoroughly enjoy them. Yes it is good to be able to give them back but I will miss them. They tend to grow on you. And as I said to Bill my friends cat always comes to her. I have yet to figure him out. Must have a little screw loose someplace. But I know most behave exactly as you said.
I am sure they will miss you too! You can always visit………
“Tis true Aunty Lisa LOL
they look adorable. pets are a responsibility and a comitment but where else do you get such unconditional love and affection?
