This last week was a little tough on my family. I had to make a quick trip to Nevada as my Grandmother passed away. The family has taken it all well and everyone is doing great. We had a small family service at my Grandparents house on Friday and afterward had a little party. I thought I would share some pictures:

Everyone had fun. It was a sad but at the same time good. The party, well we celebrated both my Grandmother’s and Grandfather’s life. And from our family you yours (you see we do have Irish in us):

A full life well lived is always a reason to celebrate. The sadness passes and the memories remain. Thank you for sharing the pictures.
So true Jamie. The memories last for a lifetime
Thom — when are you coming home? This end of the island seems a bit empty.
Wednesday night. But I might be changing that. I’m not sure yet. Waiting on a call back from work..I’m sure you can fill the void while I’m gone. Along with OC. People of your talent make up for any void
i think a party is a good way to deal with someone’s passing.
thank you for sharing
I so agree…celebrate their life
It was good that you were able to celebrate your grandmother’s life.
Thank you Betty…and yes indeed it was.
It has been many years since my grandmother died but I still have all those wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing some of your celebration of her life.
She was a wonderful woman Dr. John. Thank you for your thoughts and I’m glad you still have the memories.
