First I’m going to say that I wasn’t all emotional or having the affect that Ausiello said. First and where they did wrong with this was one the swat team got their first shot at him and didn’t capture him right then and there. That’s where it would have ended in real life but to get 2 hours out of this they just let him go. Bad move. Other than that I loved Bailey the best and the Dr. that kept crying. They were the best if you ask me in the whole show. I was so hoping that Derek would die. I guess I just don’t want him as chief any longer. And I’m glad that Arizona and Callie have gotten over their differences but you knew that was going to happen the minute they were locked in the area with all the kids. I guess Alex and Lexie are going be a couple now. I was very proud of Christina for doing the surgery but Dr. Avery gets the kudos for his quick thinking making it look like Derek died. And Meredith losing the baby and still doing the surgery on Owen as pretty good as well. All in all this is how a season ending show should be. Intense and my hats off to Shonda for doing such a good one.
it is absolutely beyond me how you could not be shocked and awed at the very beginning of that show. i was just so upset when that stupid idiot shot that young dr in the forehead…. and it just went downhill from there. it was such a good finale and shonda should give lessons in finales to the likes of marc cherry…. at DH… i felt so sorry for mer losing the baby but with everything that happened how could she not??? i thought it was genius that they unplugged der and made the shooter think he had died. and poor poor bailey. i was so sorry that doctor died in the hall… it was a powerful and intense show and i loved it. but i can already see that next season we are going to have to deal with baileys guilt over saying she was a nurse instead of a dr… mer is going to deal with losing the baby, der isnt going to want to be chief any longer, the real chief is going to get his job back i’ll bet, i think lexie will remember karev calling her izzie and dump him and maybe go back to sloan, unless he goes to teddy. the only happy thing that happened was callie and arizona agreeing to have kids… lets hope that lasts.. and i thought torrez was so brave offering the bandages to that idiot shooter and then telling him to go…. and it looks to me like christina and owen might get back together. i dont care about them. i was so happy that christina got to do that surgery and i think that is really all she lives for, at least up to now…. such a good finale…. i will think about it for a long time.
oh and i forgot to mention the swat team. remember that the shooter was around other people and they DID shoot him….. also the girl who was with bailey sure rose to the occasion…. i couldnt remember why she was in there but she sure tried to do everything she could. i was so afraid either she or her husband were going to get killed. i was so proud of the REAl CHIEF with clark at the end. he didnt take the vodka and talked that spook into offing himself. that was so good. i was so happy to see him walk down the hall….
It was shocking in the beginning…yes I will admit that. But then it just became a rampage and you knew what was going to go on.
The way I remember it it was only Clark, Lexie and the swat team member in that scene. He wasn’t around anyone else and the swat team member should have just taken him out right then and there. But then the show would have ended.
You are so right about the way the show is going to carry on next year. I can see it now happening exactly that way. What i would hope they would do is fast forward it a couple of years and be over that part of it. But I doubt it.
And you are so right about Shonda. She should give lessons to everyone

Well… for just a moment I felt guilty for wishing Derek dead. But now that I have someone to jump on the bandwagon with! I am sooooooo sick of his sensative and caring look.
The look he gets on his face makes me want to BITCH SLAP him. As usual Bailey stole the show. We are so used to seeing her be the strong one. It was odd to see her lose it. Even if it wasnt for long. I also thought it was very moving to have Merideth lose the baby during surgery. Tho
predictable. Led you are right… The Chief will be returning to his tribe. This I am also glad about. It might make Derek just a little less dislikable. Oddly enough….. I could care less about the lezbos getting back together. Yeah…. whateva. And I feel sorry for pool ole Dr. Sloan. It sucks to be the old dude left out in the cold while chasing youngins! I know!
And I agree that it went on toooooo loooooong. Less believable by the moment. But we have all wondered what we would do in that situation. Well… I dont wonder… I would be quivering in some closet under a pile of laundry.

LOl…I’m so with you Dean. I soooo wanted Derek to die. I couldn’t care less about him. Sloan will have Teddy I’m sure so he isn’t going to suffer to much. It was a powerful season ending and one that if you watched DH made them look like shit…it was the absolute worst
