So what did you think of it? If not at least a little humorous, the emasculating overtones are amusing. But then I got to thinking, I just received this on my work email account – at work, at a government agency. I don’t know what kind of acceptable use policy your job has, but as a State employee my usage is governed by State law, Administrative rules, and agency policies and procedures.
You can see the rest of his post by clicking his link above. I just wanted to get more feedback on what you think about this? Oh and by the way, Capsun put my response as a prop on his Monday post. You can see it here.
Hey, its just my opinion
A Hui Ho

First, this was hysterical.
Second, I sent it to everyone in my office and we do have a policy but we don’t follow it too closely.
Third, I’m with you Thom. Common sense is needed. For instance, I hear there was a big brew ha ha over Obama’s bowling comment he made on Leno. My response is “Get a friggin’ life, already and worry about something that really matters.”
Forth, how can you find out what people are really thinking if their speech is so guarded all of the time. I worry more about people who never make those kinds of slips. They’re are just not normal and I have found it covers much more sinister thoughts.
Fifth, I hate PC’edness. Speak freely around me.
Nessa…I agree with everything you said and speak freely around me. There are so many more things to worry about in life…it amazes me. Common sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thom — common sense isn’t all that common anymore.
As I said, I work in the office where that great big email scandal that almost cost the big guy his job. Before that I worked in school systems. I have ever and always been careful of what I allow on my work computer. Folks should keep in mind that work is a public place, and they should be aware that their email there is not private. PEople should be thinking of their public image whenever using public email, then the need for regulation would be much less.
Point well taken Quilly however how serious do we need to be all the time? Aren’t the blogs and email and most everything we do nowdays public? I still am torn by this hole concept as I’m sure you saw on Capsun’s blog. It just seems to me we get to serious so many times and common sense should prevail. I’m desperately trying to remember who you are referring to and what event it was. Maybe then I could leave a better comment
I think if people would consider what they would and wouldn’t do when they are face to face people or in “mixed company” as my dad would say, then people would make better choices. The mean remarks people make to eachother in chat rooms and comments or while they are “debating” bother me more than a mistake when you are in the spotlight or thinking of being funny.
Never thought of it that way but it makes sense
I seen this video a couple of times, once it was sent to me in an email. To be honest with you I found it Stupid and not even funny.
Oh well, I guess it’s just me, I can find more important things to do.
One of these years (remind me) I’ll tell you the Lesson my Mum taught my Sister and Myself many, many years ago about Tolerance and treating everyone equal.
Blessings
I will and I wont let you forget that you are going to tell me
I’m with Quilly on this one. People should take their own responsabilities.
I had never seen the video before and it made me chuccle!
Indeed Jientje…I’m going to start and help you with spelling…don’t take me wrong…you do great…I just wanna show you the difference. I hope you don’t mind.
responsabilities = responsibilities
chuccle – chuckle
Eww!! Pardon me my hitonious spelling Thom! I must have been tired!
Thanks for pointing this out to me,I don’t think I’ll forget now. You should just tap on my fingers if I make mistakes, okay?
Jientje I hope you didn’t take that wrong. It’s just so you but I figure it will help you and me
Just keep doing what you doing…it’s you. And can I use a ruler to tap your fingers to make you type good? LOL…that’s what we got in typing class when I was growing up so I figure turn about is fair play
