This morning, from the pictures you can see in this post, I woke up to this weather. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful sight. Makes everything around you seem clean and new. Quilly, Barefoot Weather brought up how good the weather was back home. Being here in Nevada with my family has been wonderful and great, however I’m anxious to get back home for the weather. Quilly’s post only made me yearn it more. What I have discovered from the replies she got to that post and what I read a lot, not only on my blog but others, is how lucky we are to live in Hawaii because of the weather. I understand the comments a lot better now. I mean it’s March 22nd. Spring has sprung. Mother Nature needs to get her act together.

As a postscript now it’s a little after noon. Mother Nature might be listening:

Hey, it’s just my opinion.
A Hui Ho

This is season where nature teases us. But not in Hawai
Tis true Dr. John
Go barefoot there now and you will appreciate barefoot at ome even more.
LOL…I never thought of it that way. But even with shoes on I do
Thom, before you come home, you must make for us a snowman and a snow angel. Right now we have no evidence that you’ve experienced that snow beyond looking at it from inside a warm, cozy house and/or car.
The angel will be home on Wednesday and the snowman…well his corn cob pipe started on fire and burned the poor slob to the ground
You’re darn right, you don’t know half how lucky you are to live in a place blessed with sun and blue skies. We’ve had a very good week here in Belgium, but looking at the weather reports for next week, it seems that Mother Nature is going back to her old familiar Belgian ways! Rain, rain rain!!! Eww! The pictures are great though!
Thanks for the compliment Jientje…not bad pics from my iPhone…LOL…I think an upgrade to a better camera is in the offing. Sorry to hear about the rain in Belgium. Mother Nature needs to behave
I think Mother Nature’s Hormones are out of kilter and they need re-aligning. I bet you will be glad to get back to the Islands. No snow there to make your bus skid.
Cheers my Friend
I couldn’t agree with you more Bill. No snow period. Well except atop Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa
well, this winter was terribly long and depressing and it may not have said its last but spring is finally winning over
Let’s hope so Juliana. Especially me being in Nevada for the last 2 weeks I see it more.
well since i live here and have all my life i have to say i really love the changes in the weather. the same old boring 70 low – 80 high weather would just get me down after a while. give me gale force winds, rain, snow and then sunshine all in the matter of 15 minutes…
oh and thom, great photos….. love you, ma xoxoxoxxo
LOL…all in 15 minutes. I’m sure that’s true in a lot of other places as well. But you can have this dry cold weather. I’ll take the same all the time anytime
Thanks also for the comment on the photos…not bad for an iPhone
You want blowing a gale? I think a Gale, a matt and a Joe just flew by …. and we’ve no snow, but RAIN is running down the street like a river. The ocean has definitely gotten larger in the last couple of weeks!
LOL…where’s the Nene
