Army Wives – Week of 8/23/09

I have got to say that this was one of the best episodes out. And the reason: The way Trevor was with TJ. I just absolutely loved that and how he took him to a secret place, told him about Mr. Fred and then when they got home it was still their secret. The dinner scene was so good when Roxie knew what was going on with Finn asking all the questions about the fishing and wanting to go. It was so touching I just loved it. Finn and Roxie were great too and I’m so glad that they showed the rich people there and having Finn ask about it. They are making this just as real life as they possibly can I think and are doing such a great job. The LeBlanc family stole the whole show tonight if you ask me. Every single one of them. I’m glad that Michael finally was man enough to go and apologize to Denise/Dianne (ROFLMAO). I think and this is just assuming on my part, the something bad is going to happen to Jeremy. With that phone call and what happened to their buddy I can sort of see it in the cards. Then I think Frank is going to go off once again. Poor CJ…diabetes. How dreadful is that, but I think her doctor was right on with everything she said to them. Again, I think they made it be like real life. Her being the strong woman she is and finally breaking down at the end. I also think that Joan is going to have real second thoughts about going off to war. You can just look at her and see she isn’t happy. Was a great show.

I too loved Trevor with TJ! When they were at the fishing place together I thought they really looked like father/son

I think the CJ coping with a serious illness and having to slow down and take care of herself will be a great new storyline

The one negative I had was how they sterotyped the whole play date thing
the Mom playing tennis instead of being there
    the accent on the nanny
Roxie being too dumb to know what an au pair is
the rude butler (I assume) at the gate
Roxie being too dumb to pull up to and operate an intercom

    it was all too much

I hope they don’t make Finn going to a good school and learning so much more into a negative thing

I’m glad Michael and DD are on the road to friendship again

You are right about the play date thing. I just didn’t think of all that but I so agree with you. With CJ I also hope they just don’t brush that aside…it could make for a good new storyline :)

i thought that was just a wonderful show. poor cj with the diabetes – i think they are going to try to bring more awaremness for that disease into the public. it is a horrible disease. i was glad that michael manned up and apologized to denise… and when he talked to joan i thought a light went on that made her realize how quick time passes and things can happen so unexpectedly. i am hoping she will change her mind and not deploy. i loved trevor and his son at the secret place. that was so good. i dont know what to think of finn going to that snobby school. i have a hunch that roxy might pull him out of there which would be a shame and a waste of a good brain. i think roxy will be torn about leaving him there or taking him out. its hard to figure out what is right to do. they cant baby that older boy just because finn is smart so i see trouble coming… and yes i feel something is going to happen to jeremy also. he only has 2 weeks to go and i am thinking he isnt going to make it. great show… powerful and moving all in all….

You could be right about Roxy pulling Finn out. I agree with Dianne that they made her a little too stupid for last nights show. She is so street smart and she just sort of crumbled during that play date. I just hope they don’t gloss over this diabetes now. But knowing this show I don’t think they will.
